One time I watched it after smoking up....it was delightful. I never noticed that Morris and the fellas were dancing in a skillet until U watched it whilst smoking. Also, convinced myself that it was all an allegory, in which, Prince was Jesus.

its pure pandemonium with a cool melody thrown in for good measure. I cant stop this feeling i got from watching it for the first time.

I know im apart of the new power generation but i just cant accept that fact that in todays society we are expected to love machines.

elephants and flowers is such and odd combination, thieves in the temple must have secretly re-written the original lyrics.

The latest fashion was considered a fad but im willing to bet that it still would stand all time.

my mind is spinning round and round, joy in repetition does not apply in this situation.

Its a shame that the real Graffiti Bridge went tick tick bang, i cant seem to Shake the notion that i missed out on checking it out in person.

btw im tired of waiting for the vault, i wish he would just release it so we can funk!

Yeah Prince looked real pretty in it, but Morris and his comedy/facial expressions made that movie interesting. He had the most coherent lines, while the rest of the script was kinda odd most of the time. lol Morris should have done more films. pout

Definitely. That hair and beard gave his implicit "Christ-like" theme away instantly when I first saw it. lol

As an allegory, Clint Eastwood was Jesus in 'High Plains Drifter', Christopher Reeve in Superman, Paddy Considine in 'Dead Man's Shoes' etc. It happens all the time. Perhaps Prince played an allegory of Adam? Someone said many years ago that his look on Lovesexy was pointing to this.

Under the Cherry Moon is an Oscar winning epic adventure compared to Graffiti Bridge.

With a cheap looking set, ridiculous spiritual innuendo, people that were completetly irrelavant to the movie breaking into song, and a story full of holes and unanswered questions... this movie should have NEVER been called a sequel to the movie that made Prince a mega star.

after the debacle that was Under The Cherry Moon, calling it a sequel to Purple Rain is probably the only thing that got it green-lit in the first place.

favorite story about the making of this movie is when Prince met with Madonna about casting her in it, she read the script, and said he was stupid for even thinking of making this movie. lol

and that says a lot, considering that at the time she was coming of the big screen flops of Shanghai Surprise and Who's That Girl
