If artistic talent is a trait just like any other, say humor or a gift for mathematics or being left/right handed then why wouldn't Prince and Sheila's musical gifts be passed down to their offspring? Why do you think when people go the unconventional reproductive route (sperm banks and egg donors) they always want the artist or the braniac? Those traits/gifts are in the blood man. I've inherited my bio dads talent for painting and he sho nuff didn't bother to teach it to us. My 22 yr. old daughter OFTEN exhibits talents i was born with, my ex wife used to call me all the time freaked out because she didnt know how she had certain aptitudes when all we did together was play and shop lol. Prince gravitated towards a piano with two musician parents who by all accounts werent very hands on, the father didnt even want him touching shit!. Sheila grew up in a house of music, Pete didnt want his kids in the biz, they forced him because they rehearsed constantly.
