Goddammit! That night was so crazy! I wasn't going to go to the Celebration that year, but T finally talked me into it after calling 2x every day and telling me how awesome it was. So I flew in that night, rented a car, drove out there and met T and the gang outside. We go in and not 10 mins later that shit happened. So I'm like THIS IS FUCKING GREAT, I just flew across the country and now we're getting kicked out! We finally got things settled down and went back in and eventually had a great time.

i met T a few times at paisley and first avenue, most definitely not prince. it was strange to meet another amp regular for the first time at a party in first avenue, waiting on prince to make a surprise appearance, being introduced by a common friend. i can't remember his mates name, but we had a good time. met him a few other times at paisley too over the years. good times

i'm from scotland, so just going to the states was something in itself, but to go to MPLS and see places that you've heard all about was another thing entirely. and then to be there and meet up with all the real old school fans who you knew from amp and the early days of the org, was really something. i was hanging out at paisley and first avenue and i knew most of the people there. plus the weather was fantastic. i remember one time leaving first avenue in someones convertible, there was a bunch of us driving around at about 5am with prince blasting out and we headed to some random motel where someone was staying and hung out listening to prince cds

it was a discussion for about 2 hours, i say discussion but prince did most of the talking. i never signed a non disclosure document just like kevin smith, but we all agreed that it was best not to divulge the contents of the meeting. what happens in public is fine for discussion, but what goes on behind closed doors is another story. what happens in paisley stays in paisley, was the phrase we used
