With Soul Psychodelicide supposed to be "a year long"... I hope that Prince has at LEAST a one-hour version in the Vault.
10 minutes is ridiculously short!!! Nice jam, though [Edited 5/7/10 11:29am] A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

"the song is a year long and had been playing ...."
i'm never quite sure what the next part is. four months for months for a month it's only a marginal difference but i'd still like to know. i've got my cds in storage since everything has been put on my pc but i don't think the official lyrics are in the cd booklet, are they? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I used 2 have the partition book of GB and IIRC it says "4 months" which obviously means "FOR months". we're not old, and we are funky!" I'm afraid some of you are confusing the Soul Psychodelicide 1989 studio outtake with the July 1896 rehearsal with the revolution. 1986: Soul Psychodelicide Rehearsal (59:32) 1989: Soul Psychodelicide #1 (11:01) Soul Psychodelicide #2 (8:21) Soul Psychodelicide #3 (8:48) Soul Psychodelicide #4 (5:52) The song has nothing to do with the rehearsal. Prince just re-used a title he thought it was cool.

After a while, I find it a bit boring. Too repetitive.
But the sound quality is astounding for a 1986 rehearsal recording.

But the sound quality is astounding for a 1986 rehearsal recording. I'm one of these people who could listen to a linn drum beat alone or a James Brown groove 4 hours and the longer it is the funkier i get, so this rehearsal as well as several others like this r just my thing A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Then you must love 'Billy' and 'Feline' rehearsals I do love "Billy" and the 1990 "Sex" rehearsal amongst others, though "Billy" is a bit too slow to be really funky. There might be several i don't know about, for exemple i had no clue about the "Feline" rehearsal, i'm gonna check it out A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
