And why include an instrumental, Traffic Jam," on a sample tape meant for other artists to option and perform? So, my theory is that the provenance of the material probably did come from Prince (meaning the snippets), but not in the manner described.

And as for not worrying about where they came from and just enjoying them, well I'd love to, but so far there are only minute-long clips circulating and someone is squatting on the rest of them.
