Only Wendy and Lisa or Beck & his crew for me. Keep any R&B producers well away.

wreckasto said: What if PRINCE did the one thing you thought he would never do and that is an entire album/cd that was produced by some of today's and yesterday's top producers. I think the following producers could really do some cool colaborations with PRINCE :
1. Quincy Jones 2. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis 3. Nile Rogers 4. Pharrell 5. Bono & The Edge 6. Stevie Wonder 7. Wil.i.am 8. Lenny Kravitz 9. Jay Z. 10.Rick Rubin I think at this point it's time for PRINCE to shock everyone and think outside the box. I actually posted a topic about this kinda thing before, and i totally agree with you, he needs to collaborate with some different producers, id love to see trent reznor hook up with him! Yeah, some of princes songs kinda split in 2, the first half great, then the song heads off in another direction, im tired of that shit, a good example being "damned if i do", where you have to go and edit the track yourself, cut out the crap and work from there! All u haters need to recognize, if u cant c right through these lies, good gawd!

Duran Duran tried using modern/"hot" producers on their last album and it was beyond terrible. If P used someone (which is a good idea if it is the right person, I would suggest the next fivepeople:: 1- Questlove (he did good things with Al Green) 2- Nile Rogers (he did great things in the past with a lot of people) 3- Chris Walla (he gets good sounds) 4- Brent Pasche (guitarist from Minneapolis - played with Spymob and NERD) 5- Scott Lawrence (musician from Minneapolis that knows Prince's best musical period well - Gold Experience/COME era) And just for fun, here are five people he should NEVER use: 1, 2, 3- Justin Timberlake/Timberland/T-Pain and all the rest of them... 2- Eddie Van Halen 3- Bob Rock
