Paisley Park Records Billboard ad 1987

I used to have this very cool fold-out cover from Billboard, March 1987 around the time Sign o The Times was released. It was a special issue Prince and the Minneapolis Sound. The ad was for Paisley Park Records and it had inset photos of Prince, Sheila E, Jill Jones, Madhouse, Taja Sevelle, and Tony Le Mans, remarkable since his album wasn't released till 1989! It said, "Paisley Park records - it's a Sign of the Times"
Anyone have this? I would love to see it again, and would love for others to see it too.

Nice. never seen that.

Are the studios still in general use?, i remember when there were regular reports of other famous folk using the studio back when. Don't hear much these days apart from reports of it falling apart and becoming delapidated. Has Prince given up on it? does he just use it himself nowadays?

Sweeeeet, bumpsqaud! Thanks. I used to have that one, still a classic. I remember thinking, who is Tony Le Mans? And Sheila looks so cool in that laughing pose.

Yeah I still have this issue. It had a big write up on the MPLS scene and sound.

Wow, never realized how much Dale Bozzio looks like Lady GaGa! Also, interesting that one of the support services they tout for the studio is "electronic mail." They offered e-mail in 1987? No wonder Prince got his internet pioneer Webby award...
