How Long have U Liked Prince .. Just wondering ... I will start ... I have liked Prince ever since my friend brought over Sign of the times ... then I was an instant fan when I heard " If I was Ur Girlfriend " I was hooked ...So tell me ... and B honest not evey 1 can B a 70's Groupie...lol

Well I'm 18 now, and I began liking him once I heard Batman. Which would make me around 4 yrs. old. Once I started to understand his existence. Much love 2 Prince.

O.K. well I was hearing Little Red Corvette on the radio and was always singing to it. When I was told he was on Solid Gold I made the whole family watch . When I actually saw him Dance and sing and his Gorgeous Face and Eyes I was like MY God ! Enthralled,Totally! Anyways,I ran to the neighborhood Mall and bought the album the next day. First Concert I saw was Purple Rain. It was freezing here in N.Y. and I had Bronchitis and my Uncle went to camp out for the tickets. Whenever Friday Night Videos or Hot Tracks showed When Doves Cry I was like Mesmerized. I would Scream. YeowEE!! Him in those cool clothes and doing those cool dance moves and looking so Smoldering with those Sexy Eyes and Crawling on The Floor. I was just in Heaven. He was and Is Gorgeous. I always thought so and he just seems to get Hotter and Handsomer every passing year. He is Amazing!Every Man who knows me knows that Prince always was my Fantasy Man. His Posters were on my Wall in my Bedroom and I dreamed of Him while having Sex.

when i was a hardcore Britney fan,in an interview she sed her 1st album was PurpleRain & mentioned the songs she liked of Prince's. . . .so i thought 'well i love the stuff i hear on radio' . .. . .so i bought Hits/B*Sides , . .. . . .& the rest is history

that was mid 1999 .. . .then that summer i got Rave & loved it,& after that i think it was " " & then whatever i could get my hands on . . . ..which lead 2 being the great Prince lover i am 2day.

when i 1st saw the GettOff video late at nite on TV,since that was my fave jam str8 away when i got the box set (never remembered it being a single here,as i was only 7 when it was released) i just freaked when i saw that video!
blew me away!

About 2 weeks now.

I've kinda posted this before, but here we go. I'm 17. My fandom started as a combination of 2 things: 1 was when I saw P. on the Muppet Show about 5 years ago, I'm guessing. The other was when one day, a local radio station randomly played Purple Rain. Prolly was a fluke, as they've played him again maybe 3 times since then, and that was over 3 years ago.

Since 1980

Ever since I've been between Prince's thighs.

Since Soft and Wet.

22 years

oh, man, where to begin...batman was the first album i got, but that was cause of the movie, then O)+> came out and i loved that album. me being the person i am didnt put 1 and 1 and 1 2gether, i had heard Diamonds and Pearls, Cream b4, even Alphabet St, but didnt know it was the same artist, till i got Hits/B-sides, from there on in i was hooked, bought all his ablums and singles i could get my hands on, i even mannaged to get a Purple Rain record near mint with poster But to answer the question, about 10 years.

I first heard and like him in 1980, (I wanna be your Lover)
but I became blown away when Dirty Mind came out, I've been a Junky every since.

Since I was 8 in 1984.

Since 1984, when I saw the video When Doves Cry. I loved that song when it came out. I went and bought the single and played it over and over. Than I bought Purple Rain.

I first heard of Prince when I was about 9 but I didn't really like him, my sister did: it was "Purple Rain". Then the "Kiss" video made me "change my mind" (even though it took me a while to realize it was the same person)... when this happened I was still 10 (it was more or less spring 1986 and my birthday is in July)... it's been quite a while now, huh?
