Agnieszka020	How many Prince songs do you guys have? Just being curious here. I have something like 520 and it seems like it's just a modest portion of what's out there

Agnieszka020	When I tell my friends that I can never get bored of Prince cause of the number of songs he created it always amazes them. It's sort of true though- he's taking up quite a percentage of my ipod space

I'm in the process of setting up a dedicated iTunes pc with everything I've got. I have an iPhone, but it holds bugger all. If I can get everything on there though, I can access it over wifi via Simplify.

dustysgirl	Over 4,000 not including side projects and proteges. My files are organized into "official albums," "bootleg albums," "live," "NPGMC," "Miscellaneous," "Rehearsals," and "videos." If I would have had all these when I was in high school, I would have been in heaven. Now though, I rarely listen to music much anymore. I guess it's just a collection of digital music.

RodeoSchro	Counting live songs is a little misleading. I mean, we could all probably say we have 100 performances of "Purple Rain" but that really doesn't mean we have 100 different songs. I've got a few hundred different songs, not counting concert performances.

just counting officially released studio tracks and available outtakes,
without remixes or alternate versions probably ranks up close to 1000
by now for most people.

strike that. my official albums folder (which includes madhouse & npg)
contains 887 files.

so adding up the outtakes should take it up to probably 1300 or so, at
least i think. there are so many duplicates/alternates/mixes on those
outtake sets so i'm sticking to estimating the unreleased tracks at an
approximate 300-400.
