He's an infrequent orger. Some of his songs have ended up on bootlegs because the bootlegger thought it was Prince. Seamore claims that he hasn't/doesn't try to pass himself off as Prince.

My copy of this tape came one source down from Jesse Johnson's. His copy came from a copy he made of Prince's. Yes, there is hiss. But it's not all superbad. I have inquired to see if anyone was interested in fixing the sound (they must be recommended by a friend I trust here), but no takers.
