Most of the rant was inaudible; I think his bass and/or mic wasn't loud enough. He was clearly angry but it was quite fascinating.

I've never been able to find a tape of that show but have always wanted to hear it again.

The show had its fantastic moments (pretty much whenever he rocked out on the guitar) and it had its boring moments (Larry Graham coming on stage for 30 minutes). He was in kind of a funk mood though (and not the classic 80s funk. The'too many horns/musicology' funk that drives a lot of people here crazy.)

Edited to say that during a concert at one of the Celebrations in Minneapolis, Prince called a man onstage to dance. Prince asked the man his name, and the man said his name was, "Tuna". Prince said in response something to the effect of, "Better make it funky Tuna, or we'll put you back in the can". Guess I'm used to Prince's dry sense of humor, because it doesn't bother me much.

I though it was stupid when he said that Abe Lincoln had nothing to do with the end of slavery in the United States. It is factually inaccurate. The 13th amendment only passed because Lincoln promised jobs to a lot of people. Prince is very gifted musically, but he is occasionally lacking academically.

Oh yeah at the 10/24 show Prince was an asshole to one of the girls onstage and first called her a guy, then in an attempt to correct himself and try to look super witty he said "Shim." He thought this was so funny that he repeated it several times.

"If you please... Larry Graham!"

But really, what annoys me the most is the things Prince doesn't say on stage, like "Shit", "Piss", "Fuck, "Cunt", "Cocksucker", "Motherfucker", "Tits", "Fart", "Turd" and [i]"Twat"[/i].

It annoys me when he says "Goodnight" at the end of the concert and then I have to leave

"ladies and gentlemen.....Mr Larry Graham"

There is a Purple Rain Tour Rehearsal boot that I have where Prince gets pissed off at somebody (not sure who it was). You can hear him say, "If you put the motherfuckin magazine down and play your part!!" He is ROYALLY PISSED OFF at somebody. When I first heard it, I just about fell off my chair laughing. It's funny as hell in an odd sort of way.

It annoys the hell out of me when he stops songs three times in a row because of sound issues. Then when he spends the entire show yelling at the sound guy instead of singing his songs that is a little annoying too...
