ok Crystal ball... one nite alone Live ... days of wild CD single ... Empty room cyber cingle ...ahdio takes ...Rave Remix album ... Is any 1 noticing that we are getting more previously released music - or boot legged music that we have more or less heard B4, than New Never heard B4 Music ... why is that? Rainbow children is the last thing releaded 2 the public that is new! Some times I wonder if Prince just releases stuff like ONA-piano,Crystal ball and ONA live ... just because it's cheap and easy?? any thoughts... I would like 2 hear a good new studio album ... but I expect we will probably get crystal ball 2 ( sigh ) I just miss studio albums ... remember how we used 2 wait 4 the next album every year with anticipation and excitment ... I remember the 1st time I heard "7" ... I was So In awe of that song thinking Good Lord !! he's done it again !!! food 4 thought ... not Dissin just Remminissin lol

Well...sorta. In the past two years we have seen three new studio albums from Prince -- The Rainbow Children, One Nite Alone (solo voice and piano), and XPectaton. In addition to that, we've seen the release of his first live album ever, which of course is full of previously released material with the exception of "Xenophobia," but which also included an awesome aftershow disc.

For two years of output (October 2001-present), that's pretty darn cool. I know what you're saying about missing the anticipation of a new album, not knowing when one is coming, and not hearing singles on the radio anymore. But I honestly think those days are long gone. That's why, as frustrating as it can be sometimes, it does pay to be an NPGMC member.

I agree that the amount of music I have received from NPGMC is good,however,i just wish they could space it out a bit more.
For 4 months-i had nothing,then for past 3 weeks,I got...ONA Live,Xpectation,Empty Room,and the soundcheck downloads.
I'm not complaining-it's great!

why bother about the amount of output?.Michael Jackson only releases an album every 5 years,so as a prince fan i dont mind waiting for a follow up 2 the rainbow children 2 hit the shops in the uk.At least we wont have 2 wait as long as all the MJ fans do.
