Rave Un2/In2..Which is best? Just listened 2 Rave un2 the joy fantastic and its remix partner Rave in2 the joy fantastic back 2 back. I am leaning more towards The remix version(Rave in2..) being my favourite of the two albums. The alternative versions of the Rave Un2 tracks are far superior 2 me, and the inclusion of Beautiful Strange make Rave In2 my version of choice.....Which do u guys prefer and what r your favourite tracks/remix's? | |

I like both, but for me, it's a meshing of the two.

i've only heard a few Rave In2 songs so I can't say which is better.
Beautiful Strange is fantastic though!  How can I stand 2 stay where I am? / Poor butterfly who don't understand. | |

What's the back story on this? Why would Prince do the tinkering a year and a half later on a project that was not a huge hit?

IMO, you have to cherry-pick the best versions from each and put them together. and then still scrap half the tracks and go back in the studio and create some more if you want to get something salvageable out of this project. | |

whichever one that was the "commercial" release is the only one i have. but i love Undisputed (as Chuck D is a god) so i'm curious to hear the OTHER version of Undisputed. is he still on it? i also would love to hear the extended Tangerine. that should've never been so short anyway. And i'm glad Beautiful Strange showed up SOMEWHERE. its one of the gems i DID find from the I-Vault | |

There's a ringing drone noise in the Nasty Girl mix that makes me nuts. I can't deal with it. | |
