No,it was just terrible lol I "understood" what he was TRYING to do.I get the message that he was trying to convey.Unfortunately, the movie is simply a waste of time. The storyline/plot is paper-thin and completely unbelievable, the script is dumb and it all looks like an overlong music video that never seems to end.

'Krush Groove' looks like it was hastily thrown together.

The first 'Breakin' movie is great. The sequel 'Electric Boogaloo' is HORRIBLE disbelief 'Beat Street' is better than both of those movies.

I don't understand why Graffiti gets like NOOO credit and it really irks the hell outta me!!

This movie is a metaphysical reflection of the different transitions that Prince is going through. Purple Rain of course was the most epic but Graffiti to follow it was brilliant as well. The soundtrack of course was way beyond the mind of Prince and he truly put himself to the test with the lyrics and psychological detail. Again he is extenuating the power of liberal, lyrical, powerful, metaphysical, logical, musical and beautiful music.

Just like Purple Rain this movie is again another account of his musical life where this time he is dealing mainly with the issues of love/ to die or not to die. He is haunted by the past relationship and decisions of his father and he DOES NOT want to be the man that his father was but instead be a stronger and better man and choose the right path. He understands that suicide would just be a simple cop out and that love is the true path.

Having allies is easier than having enemies and so this is when his ego starts to diminish as well.

"No one man will be ruler..." truly powerful ya'll. <3
"Happy is the way 2 meet your burden"<3

Come on, now.

'Soul Plane' is WAY worse than Graffiti Bridge. That movie was just plain garbage. The only reason it was worth watching was for Sofia Vergara and that hottie black chick with the sexy eyes (don't know her name).

What's funny is, my friend bought 'Soul Plane' because Method Man is in it, and he's a fan. Then he left it at my house, he had brought it over to show me how terrible it was. I called him a few days later and I was like "Yo, you left the movie at my house. Want me to bring it back?" and he was like "Nah". LOL

Then what's even funnier is that someone stole it from my house. I was mad for a second cos I don't like people jacking my shit, but then I remembered how terrible the movie was and laughed. Somebody thought THAT shit was worth stealing? LOL

I agree, but if you didn't like Prince, would Graffiti Bridge have any redeeming qualities at all?
