Help with funky Prince compilation 2 introduce some1. Friend of mine (who has a taste 4 dance music, funk and mainly metal) wants to broaden her horizons. She has asked me to do her a compilation CD of 'FUNK' Prince. She doesn't like the 'Most Beautiful Girl' type Prince and has always slagged him. I have managed to convince her he is SO funky live as well as on record, so she wants some examples.
I'd like some suggestions of trax 2 blow her away with raw slices of hot sweaty funk! Obviously I have plenty of ideas but as y'all know... P has so many that u kinda 4get some and then end up wishing u had put 'that' track on there! Calhoun Square, Dance On, Superfunky..., 1+1+1=3 and a couple of jams from 'It 'Ain't Over' are the first 2 spring 2 mind. But what else? Lists please... ----------
