there are so many bootlegs and special releases of prince. but whats the official most expensive and rarest album that would make every prince-fan very happy? something like "The Mauritius Post Office Stamp."

They were used on party invitations in 1847 and only 6 examples exist. All were shown at the 1980 Zeapex exhibition here in Auckland.

how rare is that pressing of "If I Love U 2Nite" that mistakenly included Prince's original studio recording instead of Mica Paris' version? I really have no idea? I think it was on the b-side accidentally instead of a remix. or something.

I paid $100 bucks for a bootlegged Black Album circa 1986-87. I was in Omaha, NE stalking record stores and mentioned that I wished I could get my hands on Prince's cancelled Black Album and the guy behind the counter pulled out a vinyl copy of the album... the quality was very poor grade -- very hissy and poppy if you know what I'm saying. I was quite disappointed at first, but came to really enjoy it.

I was glad that Warner Bros. forced the release of this music in the mid 90's. I'd probably pay a pretty penny for a copy of the original Dream Factory or Crystal Ball sets even though we've seen the official release of most of the tracks from those albums.

The new funk sampler was advertised to cost $700 bucks on npgonlineltd (or some other iteration of Prince's websites).
