Prince's tambourine On Auction Starting bid for Jackson's hat is $3,500, while the one for Elvis' hat is $1,000. Other items for sale include James Brown's driver's license, Janis Joplin's purse, Prince's paisley tambourine, Britney Spears' butterfly wings, U2 drummer Larry Mullen's dirty Converse sneakers and two nude photos of a young Madonna. The auction ends March 10.

Huh, I didn't see the tambourine, but apparently there is a Purple Rain world tour stage accessories package that looks like maybe a tambourine in it; a gold cross and necklace that P wore in some photoshoot; and a black jacket with polka dots that P wore on stage. | |
