"Dolphin" is in my all-time Prince top 10, probably even in
there with the first 5. I think it's a fantastic song. Really beautiful. Must have listened to it more than a thousand times now and it still gets to me. Never understood how some people could call it the worst song on The Gold Experience. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

'Love Song' - the duet with Madonna on her 'Like A Prayer' album. Its one of his sparsest arrangements and stands out from the rest of that album like something from another planet...
Personally, I never cared for "She Gave Her Angels" until I saw him playing it (synching) on the Muppets Tonight show.

FACE DOWN – Some boxer with really big balls is going to blast this someday as they enter the ring.
I'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER FOOL – The 90’s version of "Respect" or "I'm Every Woman". Unfortunately almost no one has heard it. I’d love for Chaka to join Prince on stage someday and throw this down loud and proud. THE LOVE WE MAKE / SLEEP AROUND/ SOUL SANCTUARY / JOINT 2 JOINT / F, L, S, M/W (and many others) – The three most important things to me in music are songwriting, songwriting and songwriting. That’s why I like a lot of “Emancipation” (particularly disc 2 and 3) even though the production is mostly ordinary by Prince standards. WITH THIS TEAR – Yeah, I said it. I don’t like a lot of the watered-down, middle-of-the-road material that Celine Dion sings, but this one knocks me out almost every single time. She understands perfectly the pain that Prince put into this song. WILLING AND ABLE – A highlight of a hit-and-miss record. Sounds like it was written during the same session that brought us “When the Lights Go Down”. QUESTION OF U – It’s not all that underrated, but it is still too underrated. It’s right up there with the classics. Should be a concert staple. EVERYWHERE – The under-appreciated “Rainbow Children” gem. I was so hoping for an 8 to 10-minute version of this song on Prince’s last tour, complete with a full powerhouse choir. Every time I listen to this I’m transported to a black church in the American South, where the intensity of sweat and spirituality are strong enough to shake the little building to its core. The more energy you give this song, the more you’ll get back. I LOVE U, BUT I DON’T TRUST U ANYMORE – Save this “Rave” banished track for the box set. COME HOME – Mavis, I’ll catch the next train. I promise. THERE IS LONELY / SOLO – Two supremely genuine takes on depression and loneliness. IF I COULD GET YOUR ATTENTION – (Taja Sevelle version) I’m a sucker for a pop song that stands up to repeated listens. HIDE THE BONE – Live it can fly nearly as high and hard as “Days of Wild”. COMEBACK –This could turn a cold man into a warm believer, at least for 2 minutes. RIPOPGODAZIPPA – One of his most underrated sex romps. COME (title track and album version) – Prince’s MOST underrated sex romp. It’s aging like a fine wine. I get lost in the creamy mix each and every time. PINK CASHMERE – Just sick that the world does not know of this stunner. DA BANG – A beautifully natural fusing of heavy metal and blues. No wonder Prince drove around listening to it 32 times right after it was recorded. THE EXODUS HAS BEGUN – One of the best funk anthems you’ve never heard. That abrupt transition from the bombastic rock opera to the peaceful flute about 45 seconds into “3 Chains of Gold” (“you say you’ll call me and then you don’t / I want to kiss you and then I won’t / we both do nothing and call it love”). The song itself is not one of my favorites, but this one small part is one with prettiest transitions I’ve ever heard. I’d better stop now… Brendan

It's not that nobody else likes these, I just haven't seen them listed as ppl's favourite tracks...
"In Love" - it's got a funky hook and his vocals are all over the place! "Somebody's Somebody" - just a lovely, romantic jam with an easy yet desperate feel about it. "White Mansion" - I cannot put my finger on it, but I just dig it. "Gotta Broken Heart Again" & "Still Waiting" - 2 me these both go hand in hand (maybe due 2 a personal experience). They both have a really pretty melody and the lyrical subject matter always seems 2 mirror my life.
