Much has been said about the appearance of LIL MAN. People often say that he looks darn young and good at 44 years old.
The following are two reasons why I think he still looks vibrant at the age of 44 that perhaps we {as fams} can learn from...


Takes Care Of Himself- We have seen the interviews and have read the articles on Prince discussing his strict diet. He seems very particular about what he puts in his body. He doesn't do drugs nor drink{well not heavy alcohol at least}. Trust me when I say unto you that I know some people that I went to school with that looks rough and they're just in their 30's. You can tell that the hard drinking and drugging has taken its' toll on their temples{bodies} and their overall appearances. Maybe... perhaps, we need be a little careful about what we consume. Perhaps we can be a little more careful about the kinds of foods we eat. And the second reason why I think he looks young and vibrant at age 44 is...

Using The Gift He Was Given- I think all of us has a gift or talent that if we can tap into, it would really elevate us on all types of levels. Prince has known since high school and perhaps even before that music is his supreme calling. How many of you when you were in high school knew what it was you were good at and choose to pursue it after high school. Some of us had no idea what so ever what we wanted to do after high school. Some of us had goals{like get a college education and make a lot of money}, but how specific were we in our planning and goals. Prince knew then he was blessed with the gift of playing music. He followed it through and it has made him a very wealthy,famous and prosperous man. He is admired by fans and musicians the world over. He never truly WORKS, he's at play, because he LOVES what he does{all of those hours of music in his vault is a testament to that,as well as, all of those aftershows he plays after his concerts}

Now how many of you LOVE your job? Many of us hate getting up in the morning and going to our jobs. We despise our job, can't stand the boss, or even being in the presence of our co-workers. Let's face it, we spend a large percentage of our lives on the job. It would certainly make some type of sense to at least enjoy what it is that we do.

I think that when you love what you do, you will feel better about yourself, it's a chance that you will be relieved of alot of stress{stress like being stuck in traffic on the way to work and being pissed off about that, then getting to work and being stressed out about the job project that you're pressed for time to complete}. And stress can affect your health.

Perhaps these things are the key to LIL MAN looking so radiant and young at age 44. Just a thought.

Agree 100% with both of your points.
In addition to not being into drinking and smoking - he doesn't seem to live for food either. He is a Vegan - but I think his sustenance is music. Music is Prince's life and he is very blessed to be in touch with his gift and to be in a position to share it with us.

Unfortunately not everyone can "love" their jobs - they must find other passions. With the amount of hours we all have to put into making a living it would be much better for our physical and mental health if we loved our jobs - but if we all did what we "loved" for a living - it would be difficult to find anyone to do things such as unclogging drains and toilets, and other jobs that most wouldn't describe as lovable.

Stress - whether it is caused by the job or other life experiences - does take a tremendous toll on people - even if they don't drink, drug or smoke. We need to have a spirtual foundation and positive outlets to get us through.

I agree...but as someone else posted above he does use pancake make up etc..his appearance on The Morning Show a few years back showed him in a different light imho. Dont get me wrong he looks good..but those photos etc are touched, he has makeup on etc although he has lessened the pancake it seems. Nevertheless he is in excellent look and condition for his age compared to many others..so it SEEMS...because his lack of sleep ( myth, fact etc) has to have taken a toll on his body I would think.

a strong faith in God and not the ways of man -- in other words, a well-centered life not ruled by worry, time, or other people -- allows one to transcend the traps many people subject themselves to.

Yeah but Prince does not do these things anymore than the next man fro the most part..he may put that across and fans may think he does but Prince worries, has issues with people and time etc...come on now, he isn't Tibet.

I agree 100% but he also has a lot more money and he can buy the most expensive creams plastic surgery, etc.He doesn't have the stress that the average person has like raising their kids how they are going to pay the mortgage and other bills, finding someone to have sex with,putting up with a boss that treats you like crap,the list could go on and on.His time is his own. most all of us would look good if we were in the same boat.

Great points from everybody. Yes but the reason why LIL MAN doesn't have to deal with a lot of stress is because he tapped into his gift and has made a lot of people happy with that gift. So much that they're willing to pay big bucks for it.
