All Day,All Night..."Shock-A-Locka" 
that track is SOOOOO Purple Rain..it's sick.should've made the cut. my guess is that it would have been a 2-lp set. Prince giving the song to J.J. for her album was a good choice..she captured the vocal vibe it called for.

Probably "The Glamorous Life" as Ernest said, but it was definitely meant 4 Sheila 2 rock out on. "All Day, All Night" is a killer track, & definitely should've stayed a Revolution track. If "Around The World In A Day" could've been a double LP, I would have added it and all of the extended dance mixes of the singles, PLUS the B-Sides & "A Love Bizarre"...
It would've looked something like this if it was a 4 sided double LP like back in a day: Side 1: AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAY PAISLEY PARK CONDITION OF THE HEART RASPBERRY BERET (extended version) Side 2: TAMBOURINE SHE'S ALWAYS IN MY HAIR (12 inch) GIRL (12 inch) ALL DAY, ALL NIGHT Side 3: AMERICA (extended version) THE LADDER Side 4: POP LIFE (fresh dance mix) TEMPTATION A LOVE BIZARRE (extended) Probably wouldn't of worked, but who knows...The original album is already one of my favorites, but that tracklisting would've been crazy! Sheila worked it, but I wonder how well it would have done originally as an Apollonia 6 track. Same with any other of those songs meant for A6 originally. Of course, at this point, we can't imagine anyone but Sheila singing it. | |

prince could release an entire "alternate" hits collection
where he'd sing lead on all those classic tracks he gave to other artists. there are so many... think of all the cool "the time" songs and a lot of the brilliant stuff he gave to sheila, jill, mavis, martika, sheena, etc etc. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
