How has your fan worship changed over the years? I for one don't camp out for days anymore. And I'm not about to follow him in Cars trying to find out where he will be. How about you?

Where is Chick Huntsberry when Prince needs him most? This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Super. You Know Big Chick is Long Dead. They had a Benefit for him at Ruperts in 1990. Yes, Prince felt Very safe around Chick.

Those type of fans that chase cars and bother the artists.. need to get a life of their own

Being a big pre-Purple Rain fan, I stopped trying to obtain his DNA after he and the movie really blew up! Things just weren't the same for me anymore... Now, I had to share him with millions of bandwagoners! (No offense to the true fans of Prince.org.)

It's funny how Prince "felt very safe" around Chick when Chick was a raging cocaine fiend who ended up selling Prince stories to a tabloid magazine. He trusted his life to a coke addict and had crack cocaine users in his inner circle and on his payroll and in his bed (Vanity.)

Mine as changed, in the beginning I was fanatical ... nowadays it doesn't seem as such. I just have much respect for the man, what he's done and his music .

Mine hasn't changed---always been about the music and the performance.
Anything considered out of the ordinary in regards to him was in direct pursuit of the 2.

i'm a bit of a newbie p freek (been playin in the sunshine 4 almost 8 years now ), so i can't say much about how my outlook's changed about the guy. i pay attention 2 p's older stuff 4 the most part, cuz i'm still pretty much learnin about everything...that, and i'm more content with the older stuff.
"worship"? nope, that ain't it 4 me... mine!

Man camping out waiting for a glimpse of the purple one that's interesting. I'll always feel the same about his music even if it changes some. We all grow with time and experience new things so, if your really digging him one year and for no good reason you decide you don't like him anymore I think that's silly, if you really even liked him at all take the good with the bad. That's life. I'm just a junky for the sound.
