I'm sure the director will respond that hardly any (percentage wise) comes from public sources but that is not the point.

i just scoped that on itunes, over 1900 people rated prince's song "F.U.N.K."
and gave it an average score of 2.5 stars.

the top reviews i read all complained that prince sounds like alvin and the
chipmunks and that the song sucks.

that goes to show you what people think. it surprised me since i'm convinced
that "f.u.n.k" is truly brilliant.

some of those same people will probably think "mr goodnight" is fantastic and
a prime example of prince's brilliance.

it's all so very boringly subjective
