Has Prince ever had plastic surgery or impersonators? Have anyone ever noticed how it seems at times, it seems like he's a different person?
Like look at that picture, he has a shockingly skinny bone structure/neck and shockingly delicate and very feminine features. It practically seems like you could just touch them and they would fall apart . He also has very light skin, way too light for a black man. And way too young looking for a 50 something year old man. Also his eyes are a lot lighter here too and much thinner eyebrows. Compare it to that picture, his features are fairly masculine and although he's still light skinned, he looks like a light skinned black guy. Also his skin is darker and he looks like has a lot healthier weight. He looks a lot older hear than he does nowadays more than 30 years later. His eyes are a lot darker here as well and bushier eyebrows. What I'm saying is it seems like Prince has the opposite effect of aging, even in a scary way. As if it's artificial or something. I'm not saying had plastic surgery or anything, but it's just odd how he changed so much. It's even possible he uses impersonators sometime. Please don't take this too offensiely, but I know you get what I'm saying, unless you blind.. [Edited 2/22/10 20:44pm] [Edited 2/22/10 20:45pm] [Edited 2/22/10 20:45pm]

That's cute... but seriously, my friend... You're gonna say he's not photoshopped in that Montreaux ad? I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

Black people come in every shade from pale as hell to black as night. I know because I'm black and have a representative of every color in the above mentioned spectrum. There's no such thing as too light to be black.
I can't vouch for anything else he has or hasn't done physically.

Being a professional picture makes it more likely to be photoshopped. Facebook, I haz it - https://www.facebook.com/Nikster1969

You are kidding me, right.. The guy has lost weight (as others have said this is probably the strict diet he maintains). He is heavily made up and, yep, he is photoshopped to an inch of his life!

Being a professional picture makes it more likely to be photoshopped. It's photoshopped. I use Photoshop all the time. That pic has been brightly lit and heavily photoshopped. Plus he's wearing an inch of makeup. Not even Prince can escape the effects of time, people. Erik blah blah blah

And that was my first post. Finally. Hello! I don't agree about the nose job. I don't think he has. People who get nose jobs tend to end up with triangular nostrils (bizarre), and he's never had a strong Negro nose. It's always looked the same to me I reckon he has had work done though. Really? His nose just seems a little different to me when compared to his earlier photos. And I realise everybody's noses change as they get older (longer etc) but I don't know... I'm comparing as an example his appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay leno to the older photo already posted here. I don't want you to think I put Prince in the same category as other deluded "celebrities" however. I have so much respect for the man.[url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjTBQzuD9u4[url] p.s. Sorry, I can't put in the link correctly. [Edited 2/23/10 0:48am] I'm no expert, I may be wrong, but I can't say I have ever noticed a change. Plus it alters your voice and I am not sure Prince would have done anything that may have put that in jepoardy. Could be wrong though. Erik blah blah blah

Nah, that's all photoshop. The colour of the skin alone, leaves clues to some sloppy photoshopping ("yeah, I'll just turn down the blue a notch, there, all orange now").
I mean, look at this, and then this, and tell me somebody hasn't been cleaning up the cheek, kindly removing some twenty years? Oh, and I doubt you're actually comparing the newer photo to a more "real" Prince on the old cover. The old Prince cover is probably airbrushed, since it seems that Prince, not unlike Michael Jackson, has always been manipulating his looks, so comparing the fake look of the Princec today to the fake look of Prince yesterday is a rather moot point, I think. (But hey, maybe I'm wrong, and soon somebebody will tell me, if I am) Of course, it's all fair game, and if Prince likes to look like this, fine .. but nobody should delude themselves. Prince is as old as Madonna, and she uses Photoshop to the same extend, and she looks like this .. or Britney .. or

In the black and white pic, Prince was a teenager. Not one of us looks like we did when we were teens. My face at 42 is slimmer than my high school grad pic at 17. It's called "losing the baby fat".
About the eyebrows: That's easy- tweezing, waxing, threading... And what is a "Negro nose"? As we come in all shades, our features and hair textures vary also. weird use of pronoun edit [Edited 2/23/10 15:42pm] "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. Just to say though, I think it was me that said he didn't have a strong negro nose. I wasn't saying that all black people have the same nose. It's the same as saying 'he didn't have a strong Roman nose'. He's just been plucked, painted, lit and smudged. You just have to be careful though that if you keep putting out 'fake' images of yourself, when you appear on tv or in concert, people suddenly go 'Shit, he's aged!' Erik blah blah blah

I don't care if his pics are photoshopped or not I guess there is an inevitability that they are or at least touched up in some way that is after all the nature of the business and he is in "show business" the business of showing. I don't really care he looks good in pictures and he looks good in the flesh close up too - not unrealistically young, he looks a mature good looking man which is what he is. Of the course his eyes are spectatular but then we wouldn't want it any other way but once he trains those lazer beams on you - you better watch out - it can be scary !!!!

As he matured his face features changed. Also his diet contributes to his more chizzled look with his body and face features. He most likely has less than 1% body fat. That alone with make anyone look different. ((((Just something to think about)))). I think he looks nice for his age. Just LOVE......................... All it's FREE!!!!

it does look like two different people.. & i used to be bamboozled about this for quite a while. until i sorted it out for myself- there are small tweaks anyone can do that will completely change your look. For instance
A) Eyebrows: Young P had thick, dark, un hampered with natural brows. Once the commercialized society started effecting him, he went after the wax. This completely realters and reconstructs your face. B) Eyeliner: All i can say is try it out for yourself, it's basically a mask for one's physical identity C) Diet: possibly the biggest factor in his appearance. it trimmed down every aspect of his body, from his nose to his neck to his abdomen! he's seriously dedicated to treating his body right and i commend him for that. (but i personally think a few chicken legs wouldn't hurt ) --- i can't believe some of ya'll are all so twisted in racism. rise above it, it's embarrassing. Essential body fat for men varies from 3-5%. Prince is an actomorph (naturally thin), so his body fat is naturally low. But given his age and the fact that he no longer performs like an athlete, it is undoubtedly somewhat above what is essential, regardless of what he eats. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Gonzalo1979 said: "black people come in all colors", yeah when they are not 100% black. Some "black" people have white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, thin lips, narrow nose (noses that have a tip on profile pictures of the head, Prince's nose has tip look at his profile, for example The hits/the b-sides 3-cd set, non-negroid lower lip) because they are part white, like Justin Guarini.
Prince is multiracial (like Alicia Keys, or does Prince look like Usher or Eddie Murphy), that explains his light skin color and not so negroid nose. his parents had some white in them, his father had italian blood. Prince doesn't look black, he looks multiracial that's whay he was given a white mother in the movie Purple Rain. When i was 9 years old in 1989 and i saw Prince for the first time ever in my life, in the Batdance video, it never crossed my mind that he was black, then like in 1991 i saw Graffiti Bridge, his skin is pasty white, he has long straight hair, thin lips, non-negroid nose, i didn't know he was black, i thought he was puerto-rican. By watching Graffiti Bridge u wouldn't know Prince was "black" at all. It's because u are prejudiced and u have heard or read on american media mentioning "black musican Prince" or something like that. BTW i live in Lima, Peru, here Prince is not known, that's how i had never heard he was "black". [Edited 2/23/10 15:56pm] [Edited 2/23/10 15:59pm] [Edited 2/23/10 16:00pm] [Edited 2/23/10 16:01pm] Let me educate you Gonzalo, you will find many Black people that can be mistaken for hispanic, native american, biracial(two parents from separate race groups). The majority of African-Americans/Blacks are not 100% percent Black African, and that is a fact. The majority of them can have African, European, Native American blood, and other, running through their veins. Unless they were born from two Black African parents, from one of the African ethnic groups in Africa, even if their kid was born in the U.S. but parents are directly from a Black-African ethnic group, with no mixture from another racial group. Because of the transatlantic slave trade, involving many countries, many of the enslaved females were forced to sleep with their slaveholding men, as well as consensual intermixing among European/Native Americans and Blacks. This basically led to a whole new race group being created, in unfortunate circumstances. This led to various, complected children being born, and that is why today, i.e., in America, you have a multitude of American Blacks appearing in various skin complexions/features. Black Americans have the most diverse DNA. Your well-known genetic scientists can confirm this. They can appear very fair- skinned and (mistaken for biracial-having parents from two different race groups), to extremely dark-skinned. We come in many shapes, sizes, skin colors, features and various textures of hair. I have two sisters, one older, one younger; the younger one could have passed for Lisa Bonet's sister when she was younger, and one of her daughter's is Prince's complexion. Both my sisters were born with very light-brown to bblondish hair, but it darkened as they got older. They are both light-skinned black females, I am darker than they are, like Whitney Houston's complexion, but we all have the same parents (my parents are my complexion), and my two siblings and I, are 14 - 16 months between in birth. I am the middle sister. So you just never know how black families will turn out complexion/feature wise. There are many blacks that do not have society's stereotypical, assumption of how a black person's features should look like, because quite frankly, there isn't one that can put the seal on us as a whole;we're too diverse in complexion/features as a whole group. Secondly, not all Black Africans from an African, ethnic group have what some in society describe as "negroid features". Don Cheadle is 13% European;Snoop Dog is 6% European; Please do not let the "dark-skin" fool you. Tom Joynor is about 30% European;Prof. Henry Gates is 50% European. The results of these DNA tests were given publically. In America, regardless of that, they are defined as Black or African-American. I could name more, but I don't have the time. People from many countries get confused often, about how Black Americans/African-Americans are defined in this country because of the various complexions/features/hair textures/physique, etc. and our ancestors' history in this country. Hope the above information helps. [ [Edited 2/24/10 7:15am]
