What Prince songs have u heard on the radio/clubs/stores lately? Been keeping the radio on lately, WILV 100.3 FM Chicago, or LOVE FM which plays "feel good music of the 80's and more" (according to their website). Heard several Prince songs played there the last couple of days-- 1999, Raspberry Beret, and I Would Die 4 U. Also, I was window shopping at Nordstrom yesterday, when all of a sudden Chelsea Rodgers came on their store radio. Got to say, I was pleasantly surprised! Heard any Prince music lately? "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

Heard "I Would Die 4 U" on our local easy listening/adult station yesterday. Saw video for "1999" on VH1's "Totally 80's" two weekends ago, and "Raspberry Beret" on same show last weekend.

Most of the time it's either "When Doves Cry"; "1999"; "Kiss";"Adore" or "How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore", but even if they don't play his current' material, in NYC, you will hear his classics on the radio, and that's on a daily basis. [Edited 2/22/10 8:24am]

I live in downtown Chicago so I tend hear his stuff all the time. I was in a little Italian deli/coffee shop on Saturday and "When Doves Cry" was playing. About a week ago I was walking the dog and "Raspberry Beret" was coming out of the local bar when I passed. Someone even had "Sexy Dancer" cranked @ the Urban Outfitters in my neighborhood. I had to give them props for that. (My clubbing days are long past me, but I know "Sexy Dancer" still gets spins in Chicago.... we like our disco and house in this town.)
In the summertime I often hear his tunes coming out of cars. I don't tend to hear much of his post 93' output, but every now and again you run in to someone blaring a more recent tune. I read this thread this morning and then when I walked into the grocery store a few hours later, Diamonds & Pearls was playing
There is also a great radio station where I live that plays Prince twice a day on average... mostly just the hits, but occassionally something deeper... I love it!

I heard "Kiss" when I was getting my license renewed at the MVA a few months ago.
A couple weeks ago I walked in to this sandwich place on campus and heard "P Control" when I realized this couldn't have possibly been the radio. Turns out someone hooked up their iPod, but I was still surprised to hear it.

I went to a club in here in The Rocks, Sydney called The Argyle the other Friday night. It's a kind of expensive, poncey, everyone a model type place, but very nice nonetheless. The DJ played some (presumably) illegal DJ mix of Erotic City and Nasty Girl. He didn't look old enough to have even been an itch in his fathers jock strap when either of those tunes came out My password is what

Radio-wise, the only thing that I've heard lately has been "When Doves Cry".
When my mother was manager at Pier 1, they had "Courtin' Time" on their playlist. My local mall always plays "Diamonds and Pearls" for some reason; and I stop and dance. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

the video to Raspberry Beret was played today on danish VH-1.
I refuses to listen to danish radio P3 no more, too much rap and hiphop P3 used to play most of the songs from the Very Best of Prince cd: I Wanna Be Your Lover, 1999, LRC, When Doves Cry, Raspberry Beret, Kiss, Sign O' The Times, Gett Off even Sexy MF and Gold has been played on danish national radio: P3. the latest singles: Musicology the song was on heavy rotation in 2004 - and Black Sweat also in rotation in 2006. I can't remember how much Guitar the song was played. Lotus was completely invissible, afaik. Prince 4Ever.

I was at a pub in Gothenburg, Sweden a couple of weeks back. I had tanked myself up pretty good... ... and at one point I started to think about Prince, and like one minute after that they started to play Cream. I was thrilled!
