Vashti, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Purple Rain was phenomenal!!!, UTCM was a different experience, except I hated the ending!!! Graffiti Bridge was so horrible, my 6 friends and I left that bad boy way before it ended, with only 2 other people in the audience who left before we did!!! Even on cable I couldn't stomach it and I turned halfway into the film and haven't seen the rest since. Lennytunia | |

U.T.C.M. I like most because it was more of a movie. And I cried so hard the first time I saw it. I was 10 yrs old at the time. But all of his movies I love because it is Prince. Shoot I like to watch Girl 6 just to sing along to the music. | |

Cherry Moon in a Breeze.Sign was cool for the time&I enjoy it but the Re-dubing&editing&whatnot kinda hurt it a bit but still a Must have for me."Purple Rain" better for the time for me but now it's like watching "Spinal Tap's" Film in hindsight&just one long Video overall IMHO."graffti Bridge" like a Bad Day at Princeville,Usa shot on the Ola Mills Backlot.very Double Afraid of that Film. mistermaxxx | |

"Under The Cherry Moon" was a wonderful flick. I smile every time I watch it (actually, grin from ear to ear,almost from start to finish). "Purple Rain" was o.k...I was young and a prude so some of the scenes with Appolonia made me uhhh...blush  High School never was the same for me after that one!!

Hands down Under The Cherry Moon, B&W film, beautiful local, extremely humorous and the soundtrack is outstanding. Unlike many that don't understand that Prince wasn't taking himself too seriously I really felt the point and humor of the film...classic!!! | |

Of course I LOVED Purple Rain (was only about 14 when I first saw it)...then I couldn't wait to see U.T.C.M. I hated it when it first came out! It wasn't anything like what I had expected. BUT, now...I love to watch it. I like to watch it late at night...snuggled up on the couch!I was too young to appreciate it when it first came out, probably like the majority of his fans at that time. I think maybe that's why it didn't get much credit. We wanted more Purple Rain. If U set your mind free, baby, maybe U'd understand... | |

I love them all. But I will say Purple Rain cause Prince's musical performances just are Spectacular and I Love watching them. It makes the Movie Shine. And watching Purple Rain makes me feel like I'm at a Prince concert. Of course Sign O The Times does the same thing as it is a concert film. | |
