Another exceptionally good audience recording of the Lovesexy tour. Parts of this release appear to be taken from a different recording - most notably the closing 'Alphabet St.', and the quality of these other recording is not as good as the main show recording. However as almost 95% of the release is from the clearer source - this really is just fantastic to listen to. The sound is a little on the thin side, but it is as good an audience recording as you will get from the European tour - I can't praise it highly enough. The show itself has some great moments, including a portion of 'Dead On It' played prior to 'A Love Bizarre'. Prince tries the tired old routine of "snap your fingers real fast, you know what that is...?" - but the Dutch audience are WAY ahead of him and shout back "Orgasm!!" before he has finished - pure class!! I'm told that some versions feature the bonus of the Lovesexy Tour rehearsal, however it can be found in it's complete form on the Sabotage Lovesexy Tour Rehearsals release.

Very cool vinyl-especially the blue one. I have never even seen these before. The image looks good with that colour background. However they could have used a better image for the pink vinyl than that Glam Slam one. I always cringe when I see it as back in the day when my mates used 2 rib me about P they always used this picture. What was he wearing & what was happening 2 his legs? Ha ha.

But if he took out a ham sandwich and a protractor and pretended to nap on stage, we'd be saying, You know, I never really understood what that meant.
