I just went back and listened to it again. I love this cd with a passion.....the sounds, the lyrics, the style. I love the whole cd every song. Please lists the songs u love and why from this cd.

For me it was a huge leap forward after the tepid Diamonds and Pearls. Now Prince was really doing it. This is what all the hype was about. Every cut on the album is an event. Not one track sounds uninspired. In fact, some of them - The Max, My Name is Prince, the Sacrifice of Victor - are overflowing with enough ideas for more than one song.

It got me through beauty college. I dubbed the cassette off my cousin, and it was 1 of only 2 tapes I had for my walkman.

But since I've done edits on "My Name is Prince, "Sexy MF", "Love 2 The 9's", "The Flow", "The Continental", and removed 99% of Tony M from them....the album is 100x better than I ever thought.
