Okay...the other day I was dying to listen to Prince, so of course I did. I don't know why, but I listened to "Kiss" and cried. He, to me, is one of those rare artists that when I listen to their music, I can't help but cry. That
original stuff you know? People may not think so, but even the young people
appreciate things like this...things like, Prince.

When I listen to "When doves cry" I do tear up, and sometimes during "Purple Rain"

Once when I was driving home from seeing my Mom, 77 Beverly Park played...it brought tears to me eyes...



Even now when I hear it, even now that she's gone...I think of the grandness of her spirit, her sacrifices, her love and her ultimate transition. At the end of the song, it's like a spaceship taking off. My Mom would have been 75 this month.

I can't listen to "I can't make u love me" cause I cry and feel sad the entire day/night.
Just recently I listened to "Insatiable" and by the time "I can't have a hug unless..." came around I was in tears!

Sometimes It Snows In April. It reminds of a friend who died in a car crash the summer it came out.

Prince has the rare ability to make me cry too

Guess it's just how I feel and ,one of the main reasons why I love him/ his music, is that he makes me 'feel' certain feelings! :p

The guitar solo on "Just My Imagination" destroys me. It's so beautiful.

Some songs make me cry, but I think prince's songs are sometimes so great that they send chills down my spine..songs like push it up, Sarah, old friends for sale, reflections, call my name, etc.

i cried one time listening to When You Were Mine, because i had just went through a break up

but that's it.

I'm a crier (at movies and such) and I've never sat there crying to a Prince song.

Xhalation, almost gets me there tho.
