Where is Prince's mysterious "Vault" located? Does anybody know? I keep hearing people on this site hold heated discussions about Prince's infamous
"Vault" like it is the Holy Grail for bona fide Princeophiles who have devoted their entire lives deciphering the cryptic messages of the enigma that is His Royal Badness! But, my question is does anybody who prides themselves on being a knowledgeable "Purple Head" know where he keeps his musical treasures? Or like the man himself, is that a mystery? My guess is it's located inside of Paisley Park. | |

yes, I guess Paisley Park is the right answer.
there was a thread incl. pictures - with a view inside the vault, the pic was taken from some video IIRC.... (maybe The Purple Medley - or The Love 4 One Another tv special....??), so this proves the vault actually exists, Prince 4Ever.  | |

The Vault to which references are made is in the basement of Paisley Park.
It's been reported several times that Prince has material stored in other locations too. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

In there his legacy is slowly (because climatically controlled, etc) rotting and rusting away.
Do you think he has a sufficient backup power supply for the room? Do you think he has personnel to copy over the digital stuff to fresh media once every while? Do you think he has personnel to at least move over the media physically? If anyone has information that denies my assumptions: please post. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill...
