The Best Of the Best!!! I have started to collect DVDs of Prince concerts and I'm simply looking for the Best from each tour to start with, so your recommendations are needed.
I have all the official releases so it is the names of the other ones I'm looking for. Thanks for the help. If a tour you see mentioned and you agree with please recommend from another tour.Like I say, a nice neat list would be great! The right to free discussion is protected!! | |

The Homecoming from the 1999 tour is pro shot and has all three acts. Bootleg quality sound and a single camera, but I don't know of a better DVD from that tour. Get it for The Time and Vanity 6 sets, as the prince set is sort of uninspired.
4 Those Of U On Valium. This SOTT trial run was pro filmed, but suffers from the usual degraded tape of 1980s videos. Cool show. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Livesexy from Lovesexy No Nude Tour!!!!! Diamonds and Pearls from London No Act 1 or Act 2 shows!!!! Either way next up for me is Sunrise 2004 from Musicology After the Ball Game 2007 (31/1/07 Florida) O2 9/9/07 So are there better out there and which if any shows From Nude - ActI/ActII - Gold - ONA or of anything else for that manner. [Edited 2/15/10 5:53am] The Glam Slam Miami shows 7-9 June 1994 are excellent quality, for Gold, Come, and Exodus material. As far as I know there are no professionally shot Act I or II shows available. A lot of handheld shows, but if you're like me I can't handle watching those. TRUE BLUE |

If I recall correctly, I had a boot in the early 90s that was how the show was televised but the running order of the songs was not how the concert was performed (meaning it was edited later). I since have found one with the correct running order. Tokyo '90 from Fullasoul. TRUE BLUE |

So the Nude tour in Japan from Fullasoul.That sounds cool alright must keep an eye out for that.
