If you list New Power Soul as a Prince album, you should add the sales of Exodus as well.

^ yeah some thinks so, Imo. NPS is a Prince album:

when The One single/ video was released to MTV it was credited to "The Artist" aka. Prince... not to the NPG - on the other hand, the Get Wild single/ video for instance was credited to the NPG.

Prince is also on the cover to NPS with that Symbol "tatoo", on the NPG albums like Exodus, it's more of a band apperance.

Whatever, I am sure we will disagree on this forever.... wink razz

Thanks for putting that together. I knew (roughly) his US sales figures, but never had a handle on world wide. Interesting to see his US #s slip just as his worldwide figures rise in the late 80s.

My contributions to this tally:

1999: 1 LP, 1 cassette, 1 CD
Purple Rain: 2 LPs, 2 cassettes, 2 CDs
ATWIAD: 1 LP, 1 cassette, 1 CD
Parade: 1 LP, 1 cassette, 1 CD

I think 106 and a half is a future unreleased song from a revamped Madhouse. wink
