You're right the article is brilliant. A young trendy mag that gives prince the props he deserves. Very refreshing.

The picture on the front cover is of the man during the "Slave" period.
"London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"

"YEAH!!!"

"Yeah, well then fuck those other fools!"

I better grab a copy of that 2morro. That does sound like good news. What’s the extended I would die for you. (The original 12", a DJs edit, or a cover version)

It's cover version 'Space Cowboy' did. They palyed it quite alot on Radio 1, and Xfm.

If you get the mag, try and get the one with Prince on the cover.

There are three different front covers available. Prince, madonna, and Kraftwork.

It is the February issue.

The report is good, though quite brief! Being afforded the cover and being on of 3 80's heroes, you might expect the article to be more than one page, but hey!

The cd is actually pretty shit! In fact, about the only good things on the free disc are Bent's cover of Dirty Mind (so far away from the original as to be almost unrecognisable apart from the lyrics!) and the absolute, all-time classic "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel! I can't stand the Space Cowboy's version of "IWD4U" which is basically the original cut, sped up and fed through some filters, with the vocals replaced by vocodered shite! It is truly awful, IMO, let's contemporary dance music down. There is also a god-awful cover of Floyd's "Breathe" - I did a better version just working out how to use Cubase!!!
...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
