I'm Afraid Elixer Is Actually Better than Soldier of Love ok, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but after listening to the new Sade album non-stop since last week. I'm severely underwhelmed. there are only 4 trax i like on it. the lyrical depth is there but it lacks the groove and melody it needs. its like an album full of "By Your Sides" (the disappointing lead single from Lovers Rock). In contrast, despite her obvious vocal shortcomings, I think Elixer actually flows better as an album. | |
