God am I a freaking cry baby? The beautiful ones just tugged some tears from my eyes...

Prince used to make me cry in a good way! If I played "Free", "It's Gonna Be Lonely" or "One Kiss At A Time" right now, I'd be an emotional wreck and feel damn good about it!!

However, if I played anything off of the Lotusflow3r Trilogy with the exception of "Dance 4 Me" or anything from "Planet Earth",..I'd be an emotional wreck...in the worst possible way!!!!

This time tomorrow...y'all would probably be reading about the crazy lady that screamed...blood curdling screams of agony...pain...and anguish...throughout the night...in the wooded northern suburbs of Detroit...until the authorities could no longer dismiss the calls for help placed by distressed neighbors!

I'm rarely moved to tears by his music, but I do remember getting a lump in my throat to "The Love We Make" once. Perhaps it was "one of those days", but I remember it because of how unusual that was for me.

When I first heard 'u're gonna c me' I felt like crying... very, very odd.. I have no idea why.

When I saw Prince at the O2 and they played the video before he came on stage, when the clip of 'Kiss' came on, I had a lump in my throat.... again, very odd.

I'm an odd creature sometimes.

Sometimes it Snows in April tends to get me if i'm in the right/wrong mood.

Only Stevie Wonder has ever had the power to make me tear up while listening to a song. So descriptive and image evoking, despite the obvious, that amazes me. I think he is truly wondrous, kind and thoughtful. A very special human being.
