I Hate U band version vs. rnb quiet mix

Which version you like more
Gold album band version or more rnb mix Prince did?
i like Gold album version much more because of the whole
vibe of the performance.

Prince sounds much more gritty raw and frustrated on the band version.
Rnb version is ok ,it have some additional lyrics but
Gold album version kills it.
Not to mention short but Amazing guitar solo by Prince

The album version is superior by far. The dryer drum machine on the remix is annoying. I wish he had just done a longer version of the album version and added those extra lyrics.

I don't like the one with Eric because it's the remix track.

The Eric Leeds "Quiet Night Mix" is beyond awesome and one of my few cherished 90's recordings.
The "courtroom" nonsense on the album version is so cringeworthy it completely ruins such a beautiful song
