Question about some tracks on T's 1987 disc

"We Can Funk" seems slowed down

"Crystal Ball" seems sped up

are these alternate mixes the way Prince intended them to be speed-wise?

I also dig "The Ball" with its psychedelic backwards-looped guitar playing and slowed-down voices etc. How experimental and cool that is, ey?
