The Who finally jumped the shark and shed light on the obsession with safety since nipplegate. Unfortunately Prince, who wrecked shop and performed possibly the greatest halftime show is lumped in with the so called awareness viewers are having. To see Prince holding a fucking guitar in any lighting is a gift from the heavens, and to complain about it reveals the true lighting as to what it must be like to actually know this bastard-prayers to his wife and family.Robin? i'm not sure is being a sidekick for a guy like stern and often playing "she-coon" for his low brow humor is a place of artistic authority. Cash your check mama, keep talking shit about black men (as if white men want you) and stay in your lane! lol.

I think she means that he just plays covers and shit. "Creep", "Crimson and Clover", Sly and the Family Stone....etc. He's playing (other people's) records.

I'm a little confused...It's been well documented that Robin has never been a Prince fan...But I don't recall Stern, who is a Prince fan, shitting on Prince's Super Bowl performance....I recall that he was raving about that performance....

Robin has claimed to have seen Prince live whenever he comes to town (although this is a somewhat recent revelation). This is the first time I've heard him complain about him.

As for Stern, it might have been that he was STILL complaining about the "book" show and Gary jumped in about the Superbowl performance being "awful".

I didn't think there was any validity to what Robin said, but I disagree with "95% of what they say" being total bullshit. It's one thing to have opinions, which I don't always agree with, but their claims on Prince are insanely misguided. Yes, the show is a combination of frank honesty as well as hyper exaggeration for comic effect, but anytime they complain about Prince, it seems to be often not funny, or fun and least of all, honest.

I think what she is saying (or at least i hope she is) is that prince has become nothing more than a "roll out the hits" type guy now, which im sorry but its true, he really has lost that kind of edge of stepping on stage and you not knowing what he would do, and trust me i know, i have seen him 76times live.

The fact that anyone even cares what these has-beens have to say is pretty funny. Robin and Howard...your show used to be (kinda) good and now is just complete crap.
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U
All of it. Everything. Is U.
