This picture was given to my Dad in the 90s, the girl in the picture was a friend of my sisters via church. I have no reason to believe that either my sister, my dad or lee-sha was lying. I was told that Lee-sha was her stage name while working for Prince. If she was indeed a backing singer for chaka then that would make sense, seeing as they performed at an aftershow.

The picture was taken on normal film not digital and has the depth of light expected from a simple camera. there is not the definition you would expect from a pap or promo pic. His head is tilted forward which has foreshortened his head and nose but the shape of the nose is exactly the same as Ps. You cannot assume that the man in the pic is tall, you have no idea how tall lee-sha is.

he is sitting on a table with his legs swinging, you can see that from the angle of his left leg that it is not touching the floor.

So far the prevenance says it is most likely to be Prince as there is no evidence to the contrary.

I only posted the picture which belongs to my family, in here to see if anyone could remember the gig, venue, aftershow whatever.

How would you explain an impersonator that looks that much like Prince not getting on telly or in the press in the Uk during the 90's. MJs were everywhere.

So, maybe my dad made a mistake, but I dont recall a prince impersonator on stars in their eyes in the 90s.

Have you ever seen a picture of Prince smiling in a posed photoshoot shot? apart from getty images of course in recent years.

this subject looks of too normal proportions... Prince has a large head/face on a little skinny body. His face is also thin and long from directly front to higher angles looking down, his hair sits up higher on his head, and takes up a smaller area.

But there have been pics of Prince that don't look like him!

This reminds me I have a rare Prince Photo too, my Mom gave it to me,

I'm no expert or crazy mad fan anymore but that definitly ain't Prince.

agreed, he does tend to favour the peering upwards promo shot which gives an exaggeration to his pointy chin but those shots are taken very high up from above his head which is why you can see the whites under his eyes in those type of promo shots. i think the guy in my pic has a very skinny body if you look closely at the size of his hips and thighs. admittedly the hand seems large but ive always thought of p as having big hands albeit skinny ones.

there have been at least 2 or 3 people in the 16 years that the show was on air in the uk. i've never seen a single one myself as i'd rather poke my eyes out with a sharp stick, but other people will confirm he has been on the show, and i worked with one guy in either 95 or 96 that did a prince tribute act at a prince nite in stoke on trent who had been on stars in your eyes as prince, and there is a good chance that is him. adrian from madhouse videotaped it, and i'm sure a few people probably took photos

Prince occasionally tied his shirts like that during '91-'93 (See D&P video). But he also had a beard and wore huge shoulder pads during that time. The photo below (taken during that era) also shows how Prince's chest hair and hands differ from the person in Syble's photo. The person in her photo seems to be meshing several Prince eras together, much like an impersonator would do...

That's either the bloke who impersonated him on Stars in their Eyes or a tribute act lookee likeee I saw a couple of times around 94 - 96 ish.

I think it's the latter. He also has a backing singer called 'Rosie Gaynes' or somesuch who was too thin and was white.

Prince's shirts are hand made, so the buttons are on the RIGHT side, which indicates that it is a man's shirt. The guy in the pic is wearing a women's shirt with the buttons on the LEFT.

He's very good likeness though but that ain't prince! he don't look ballsy enough, not an ounce of arrogance in site, look at his hands! giant like fucking SHOVELS don't get me started on his chesticles - i'd recognise the real deal anywhere.
plus the clothes are bad, princey could wear that shit and make it look regular, this bloke cant harness the bad lace and blouse style
