Not if "famz" are involved. They will ruin it every time. They do clean up afterwards though.

I have aked this very same question many times before...
Every time I get the same answer: "We live in MPLS and see more Prince than anyone else."

This has never made any sense to me. Because there hasen't a "Paisley Show" beyond the Celebrations for years.

MPLS needs a Prince fan/fam (what ever you want to call yourself) group..

it's in the Works now... MPLS should be the #1 spot 4 Prince Fanz/Famz... there's a Yahoo! Group that dedicated itself 2 Prince Newz & ReViewz & it just sits there... we need 2 do somethin' with it... or just start a group & DEDICATE the site 2 Prince & Prince happenings...

The MN Prince Family is rising up. Check out the Fan Gatherings thread. In Brief, Feb 12, Wednesday, at The Front, MPLS. There are a lot of great Prince people here and we're gettin 2 know each other and the group is already growing.

it would be nice to have agroup who would let everyone in the area know when paisley parties are. i always see that they happened (on the org) the day after they do...
it sucks when it would take me all of 5 minutes to get there if i knew.

i've lived in here in mpls 4 a year, and it seems like the locals are mostly silent when it comes 2 p (unless u run into the right person ), except 4 the occasional press. this is an awesome idea, 2 round up all of us mpls .orgers and see who's who..i've met some of ya'll at the park and the utcm hoo-hah at the uptown last fall, but 4 those of ya'll who are pretty much hidin or what-not, this'll be awesome. we definitely gotta meet up more often.

see ya'll @ the front in a couple weeks!

This is kinda funny to hear. About a year ago, i tried to start a club with all the Prince Fans/Fams here in MPLS and the response was really pathetic. I thought it would be cool to have, but most of the responses I got were "We dn't need one, because we're always around him". Well, i disagree. I'd love to be able to get together once a month or whatever and try and make some friends up here with the same interests as mine. I even thought it would be cool if we hosted a picnic or party during the week of the celebration. Once again, no response. I hope that someday the MPLS people will realize just how lucky they are and get organized enough to try and get together every once in a while. if there are others like me out there, please let me know. I've only met a handfull and none of them have become friends of mine. So, if ya'll want a group bad enough, count me in. But, if you're just gonna talk about it, I guess I'll keep to myself. I already got a great name for a group... but I ain't gonna share it so somebody can steal it.
