If you were at a Karaoke bar, what Prince song...

....would you be able to give the best performance of?

I think I'd do Kiss justice. I sound descent singing Damn U. But to get the crowd going DMSR would be my #1 choice.

I'd give Solo a shot. If only to keep my reflexes in check as I avoid the beer bottles being hurled my way.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I WAS at a Karaoke bar last week, and they had about 15 Prince songs, a great selection! I chose Sexy MF, and was doing very well, until they had some Tony M wannabe (if you can imagine that!) doing the rap part. I WANTED TO DO IT! I was pretty pissed, but I made up for it by going back later and calling Cream. I did all the actions from the video clip. Well, except for the splits.

Well, I did P Control and Darling Nikki. I know I had a good time. Not sure about the other people in the room, though.

As a professional KJ, I must say that I love y'all's choices. I only wish that some of them were even "available" on karaoke...

Still, there are over 65 Prince (and related) tracks on CDG. There is also a company out of the UK called SBI that has a lot of tracks NOT available in the US. Check them out.

If any of you are ever in Houston, come to one of my shows. I have The largest Prince karaoke list around.

I've done all of these before...

Sign 'O' The Times
Purple Rain
When Doves Cry
Te Amo Corazon
Cream
Little Red Corvette
Baby I'm A Star
7
Sexy MF
Nasty Girl
Sex Shooter
Sugar Walls

My friends really like my take on Te Amo Corazon & 7.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I've sung When Doves Cry and Little Red Corvette, and When Doves Cry worked best for me. I think Forever In My Life is one of the songs best suited for me but I don't expect to find that one at any Karaoke bar.

WOW... I just got "Black Sweat" on karaoke from Amazon... Unfortunately, it's just the instrumental with no graphics, but that can be fixed...

Now, if only I could find "Guitar."
