Could U C Prince do an electro funk album?Not Techno!

Imagine prince doing an electro/technofied funk with some crazy rhythm patterns.
something I believe prince should explore.

i'd much rather see prince do an electro-folk album.

the funk on MPLSOUND leaves a lot to be desired so
i'd rather see him take a different route.

folk songs with great, interesting lyrics, laced with
intricate, timeless electronica and glitch patterns.

I'd love to hear something stark and electric, like 1999 was back in the day but with today's instruments/sensibilities/current events.

People like Gaga, Calvin Harris, Sam Sparro, Jaxx have all taken what Prince started and really run with it. My worry is that today's Prince wouldn't be able to tune into that style anymore, which is a shame.

MPLSound says he currently does not have either the ability or the inclination to do such a project.

He touched on that in the mid 90s, but never a full album.

How about a Cd that is sooo funky that you hurt your foot stomping the ground when listening to it. Make a "bass face" when u r jamming to it. Dancing ur behind off to where it's just so small u can fit into your baby clothes.

I heard 1999 yesterday and thought the same thing. I could see P making a very good electro/tech funk album. MPLSound could have been better if it was stripped. I'm thinking some of his earlier stuff yes... Like the Dirty Mind or 1999 sound.

oh I like MPLSound 2, I just don't think Chocolate Box & TNBALM was his funkiest best. PFUnk was nicer.
