BEST ROCK SOLO VOCAL PERFORMANCE - Bruce Springsteen is the winner in that category.

So there you have it folks, Prince didn't win, but Bruce won.
I still think Prince should have won though. Oh well, at least "Dreamer" was nominated and that's a good thing.

That is really sad.

I think that means, there will be no new pictures for us

because he is probably not at the Grammy at all.

Okay, that does it for the pre-show. It's finished. Now they're showing the Red Carpet arrivals. The grammys will be shown on CBS.com, www.grammy.com and youtube, twitter and myspace.

Well, Bruce didn't show up to accept the award anyway. I'm sure you can catch the pre-show online later. The only entertaining part of that show was when Charlie Wilson performed.

Anyway, they are doing the Red Carpet show now.

Did you read the rest of the thread? Bruce Springsteen already won in that category at the pre-show. The pre-show was shown live online at www.grammy.com

Me! I've been saying since day one that Prince wouldn't win, wouldn't show, and sure as hell wouldn't perform. I also suggested that the award wasn't likely to be presented on air. Lot of fams on here told me I didn't know what I was talking about.

Feels good to be right.

No big deal. At least one of his songs was nominated. Especially promoting the album the way he did. That doesn't happen for many artists who have big record companies promoting them.

Me too, but I did hear him say he was making an album for Haiti, and the donations will go to help the Haitian victims. Not sure if he said Warren G, but he probably did.

She was so happy when she received it. She thanked Sade for letting her cover the song. She's being interviewed right now on www.grammy.com at the red carpet arrivals.

Mary J. Blige will be performing "Bridge over troubled waters" for the Haiti victims. They said you can buy/download it from itunes after the performance, that the donations will go to Haiti victims.
