This posting is dedicated to giving thanks to Prince. It's a way of showing our own individual appreciation for the musician known as Prince. Just a few rules before posting: 1) Be sincere 2) Be nice and positive (If you can't say (or write) something nice-Don't say (or write) it at all.)3) No backhanded compliments 4) Obey rules 1,2,3,and 4.

Okay, I'll go first.

Thank you Mr. Nelson for all your music now and in years past. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication that you put into not only your music and performances, but everything that makes up being the rock star Prince. Your music has added so much joy not only to my life, but countless others. Your music is truly a gift from God. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

It is ironic that starting an appreciation thread for Prince on a "Prince" fan site would cause so much controversy? Are there any fans or friends left? Or is there just frienemies left?

i would like to say thanks to prince, because his music always lights up my day, espeially "beautiful, loved and blessed" because i truly feel as though he wrote that song with someone like me in mind. so than u very much prince for your contribution in the entertainment industry

I'm with you on this. Whilst P will always do something to frustrate us the positives totally IMHO outweigh the negatives. He's given me more great memories than any one can dare to dream of and works so damn hard. Every year is a surprise, some like , some not but overall there is much to be thnakful for. Oh and lets ALL admit 1 thing, there's NEVER a dull moment with P!.

Nice thread Kewlschool. It is also year end and time to wish Bon voyage for 2010 to those we appreciate. Prince is one of those people whom I appreciate.

Thanks Prince. Especially for the Lotusflow3r album. I really love it.The music, the concept and most importantly, the fact that you're still making beautiful music after all these years that I've been away as a fan.

I look forward to Prince's new endeavours in 2010. Never B# never Bb, always be natural.

Only on the Org...lol...I think most well-adjusted people are smart enough to know the difference between blind, groupie adoration for an artist and just plain, well-intended appreciation...I think the poster falls in the latter category....

Prince~I adore U. Thank you for writing a song that wonderfully describes an emotion to put my finger on. I do absolutely "Adore" your music.

Whether U have been happy or sad in your life, I have hoped U would know that I have loved you thru it. If we were married, I would never think a "before us," feeling...I know U have had your relations and I have had mine, but I don't feel as if I have lived my life without your spirit, and I hope U have felt mine near you too. I love U, and I am also a fan. You are a great musician.
