This was really special: all that rain and thunder really made this performance intense.

I was afraid a lightening would hit Prince on stage while the whole world (some of it..) was watching it.

Thanks to God, that didn't happen...

I loved this performance from start to finish, out-of-tune guitar and all. I thought it was great.

My son was just talking about this today. He said that Prince's performance was "outstanding" during that Superbowl show, and how it just happened to rain that night, while Prince sang "Purple Rain".

U guys might think I'm crazy, but the strangest thing happened to me that night Prince played the Superbowl.

I was baking a small clay guitar. This particular guitar was red white and blue...It was the first time I had totally ruined a guitar...It was the 2cd quarter of the game. Before Prince went on, I took it out of the oven and it was fried, burnt and bubbled...Kinda cool in a way...but then the rain got harder, and I worried about Prince playing in the rain...and I prayed so hard that Prince would be okay.

I was so happy 4 Prince that night, and so happy to see him get throught the night without getting shocked or anything...

I know, somewhere on the line of strange connections...Prince's possible shock ended up in my house...My clay guitar caught it.

Let some people tell it, all we do around here is "hate on Prince" because there are people here WHO WILL tell it like it is, no matter what and make no apologies about it! What they refuse to acknowledge though, is we're just as passionate and honest, when it comes to giving Prince his props, when he truly deserves them!
