Although it saves on accommodation costs, given the cost of air travel, overseas visitors may find the reduction in time is less attractive.

I agree.
This would be better for me.
Lots of people who came last year were not able to stay all
7 days.
I personally had access to 3 partially unused tickets...
Don't get ne wrong I enjoyed all 7; but I'll enjoy 4 even more.
So...how's everybody doing? smile

same here. I'd be a LOT cheaper at only four days. And actually, judging by past celebrations, most of the people don't show up until four days in ANYWAY...so that makes sense to me.

I will be appreciative of the time that Prince has to give. 4 Days is preferable to No Days - Right? He and his staff worked exceptionally hard last year - not just with typical "giving his all" Prince performances - but also in trying to make people's entire 7 days enjoyable and meaningful. While I initially thought 7 days last year would be too long - it was actually perfect! However, if it is shortened this year - I will be thankful that he still is having a Celebration. Prince and the Band toured extensively this year - worked very hard and they deserve the time off!!!

yeah why you HAVE to go ALL 7 days... if its for seven days then people that can only come at certain times can go a some point during the week...itys kinda selfish to think that he should shorten it to ease the stress on your wallet! Shit dont go the whole week if you cant afford it or if itys that big of a deal...at least seven days gives evryone a pretty good chance at making it a couple days out of that week!

4 days...7 days...just make sure there ARE some days! I had such a great time last year compared to the first year (couldn't make the 2nd) that i'd be there regardless! And, since i will be moving to Chi-town around that same time, it all works out great!!!

I will kinda miss having 7 days. A lot of people weren't able to attend all 7, so then either the first few or last few days would be a bit less crowded. I'll miss those days.

BUT, this will be easier to do with vacation time, so I'm fine with either.

I do hope that if it's only 4 days, some certain people will be able to come for 6 or 7 days anyway and spend quality time in MPLS beyond Paisley Park.

I think 4 days is great. 7 cannot be easy for most people, including those at Paisley Park to pull off.

Give me 4 high energy days...seeing as this will be my first Celebration...I will be very happy.

I too am very grateful for anytime Prince chooses to open Paisley Park. Making the Celebration less than 7 days would allow me to "spend some quality time in MPLS." I look forward to seeing all the things there is to see and I hope to meet many people.

Why not satisfy EVERYONE? Do 4 days for everyone outside MPLS, and extra days for MPLS residents! Yeah, that's the ticket! wink

I wish it was 7 like the previous celebrations.
Prince doesn't have to perform every nite, I guess that's a bit much for him, but if it is only 4 days I guess that means we will probably be getting less for more money.

No,I won't be disappointed because seeing Prince play only one night is Wonderful and 4 or 7 is just really an extra special Treat. If he decides to make it 4 days well I know it will be Great. Of course who Wouldn't want to see Prince play for 7 days though? Last year was So Amazing ,I was Soo Overwhelmed by the Experience.

I hear from my sources that the plans are for 5 days..I think this is fair..Not to expensive for some and not to stressful for NPGMC...sometimes good things come in small packages wink

Honey, he can blow my mind any day. But I thing 4 days of partying is fine. I'll try to stay six or seven just for the hell of it. (How many times to you get to visit MN anywhoo)

All, I want for the Celebration is more interaction with Prince like they had in previous years. He really didn't interact with any of the listening sessions this year and that's what I missed most of all.

Give us some free goodies, have Damon and the Crew back and make sure the NPG store is well stocked with some new and unusal items.

I'm not asking for too much am I? lol

Hello

We have no confirmed info yet on a 2003 Celebration.
We don't give "weird answers", we just state the facts.
