Someone Else's Treasure ? Today my friend who works at the Library, was on her way to the dumpster to throw out two entire racks FULL of old magazines, I immediately said no way, too bad someone might want to use them, so I looked thru them , mostly all Interior Design stuff, and a ton of Keyboard Magazines, and Sure as Shera 2 Lucky Finds~~The August 2004 Prince's 4-ever Tour is among them as well as a classic 1991 Rosie Gaines and Dr Fink one, I was so excited to get home and read them, and they were really nicely written , I enjoyed them alot, In essence I was at the right place at the exact right time, these were almost tossed out and lost.

Very Cool. I Love that feeling...When Presents fall from the sky...
I have a fun story. I had my own golf clubs designed about 10 years ago, and I had an old bag that I threw away. I wanted a pastel Agua Blue Bag, which I never found. So, I had gone golf bag shopping one afternoon years ago, and black was all I could really find...I didn't want to spend the money. I looked at GoodWill and things and didn't find one. I was driving home, and I told my friend to pull over onto the tree lawn because someone was throwing a gray and blue golf bag away. I said to my friend..."There it is, my present from the sky." When I put the golf bag in the car, I noticed it had a silver shiny tag on it. I turned the tag over to read, "A Little Slice of Heaven." "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I have a Dictionary of thoughts that quotes thousands of writers. I don't know all of his work, or all of anyone's work for that matter. I appreciate little profound quotes. I write too. Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to publish a poetry book. Maybe a Novel. We'll see. [Edited 1/29/10 16:34pm] "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

What does Voltaire have to do with Prince? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
