The "follower" thing to me is not the sheep syndrom (no brain, no pain...). It is more about following the path of the roghteaous and love and understanding... remember Love is God and God is Love

I actually like it when Prince talks about God at his concerts but that leader and follower is crap because it depends who is the leader and who someone is following.

You could be following the wrong thing.
JW teach you to be a follower so you won't ask any questions about their teachings.

My parents alwayss taught me to be a leader not a follower.

Prince should have brains enough to be a leader, I'm sure he is more intelligent than a lot of people.

What about that is it better to give or to recieve?, that kills me everytime, after charging everybody sometimes over a hundred dollars and than he ask that question?

I wish I could say to him, if you feel that way why don't you give everybody their money back? Prince shouldd not even ask these two questions in my opinion.

I think with some of Prince's new ways, somehow he has lost some of his intelligence, I don't know how that happens but I guess he could manage to do anything.

It's simple really - he is now following the JW doctrine, so he has changed his ways and attitudes in line with their beliefs and only follows God. This is the point he is making in his shows - that we should all be followers of God. Yes, his soliloquy "has more holes than a golf course" but, as explained before, he doesn't have time to go in to a discussion about it mid-gig - he is just making a point.

And expect many more obscurities and points that could be argued but aren't - because that is exactly how the JWs are. They do as they are told, no questions asked. Any questions that are asked are met with responses that either skirt around the issue, or just dictate what you should think, and masquerade their points with quotes from the bible.

An example of this was highlighted on British television recently. The heads of the Jehovah's Witness faith ALLEDGEDLY hold a database in the US of around 22,000 names of people within their organisation who are guilty of child-abuse! Because they hold no respect for any authority other than God, these names have not been passed to the police and the proper, government authorities have been trying to get access to this database for some time. The last time that they pursued this, the current head of the faith wrote a response to them, basically saying that it was a matter for them (the JW organisation) and God to deal with and that they would not release this information. The BBC, who were conducting this recent investigation in to this matter, managed to track this person down at a JW event, broke through his security and minders and directly asked him why he would not release this information. His response, get this, was, "I released a written statement about this matter some time ago - you can read that for your answer." When the reporter pressed him again for an answer and questioned why he would not just speak to him then, his next response was "Read your bible - it says in there "Do not go beyond what is written"" - and with that, he left (with his minders and aides!).

Am i right in thinking that the booklet that comes with the ONA Live set is the first "official" statement that Prince is actually a Jehovah's Witness now? Someone said it in the booklet... I presume the fact that prince allowed it to be printed makes it true.

Y'all probably didn't want to risk losing a chance to go on stage though! Can't say I blame ya.

IT just meant that who answered follower got rewarded by getting up on stage. Prince would than perform on his guitar for you. He did that quite often in Europe. And because every one would be hard headed and answer leader he had the fun of putting that 'big'feeling down.
