Interesting. I know! Having spent a lot of time here, I am not at all surprised by peoples' reactions, but I like that this is something totally unexpected. I was dreading this, thinking it would be more along the lines of "3121, this is where the party's at, purple & gold y'all"
But no, he did a proper fight/spirit song. It's actually cool. I don't expect modern football fans to care, but it's really not bad. My Legacy

Gosh, with 95% of people disliking this song so quickly, I kinda feel bad for the man.
I still don't think it's really all that "terrible" or "embarrassing." Yeah, it's like an anthem, but now I think that's what he intended it to be. I'm starting to imagine the deep male voices of the team singing this, and it kind of works as a quick uplifting chant before a game. What a God awful start to the new decade.
This is the first Prince song since Let's Have a Baby that I hate, and there are only a handful of Prince songs I really really dislike and most of them are outtakes. Hopefully this win the worse song of decade in ten years time. Something BIG Is Coming. |

I just read a story about TMZ cracking on Prince.
"The Artist Formerly Known as Talented" ??? Here's my 2nd attempt to help Prince out. (My first two efforts got locked.) (Sorry mods!) To the tune of Take Me with U (The whole Vikings squad sings it!)
