Is Prince saying it's like when light dispels darkness? Opening Ur eyes underwater could be like light. You have to block the water and pressure out, so that Ur vision remains intact and clear. Ur focus becomes narrow on the path ahead. The other side might be freedom from any fear or oppression, where we become true to ourselves and our real identiy is revealed
