There are plenty of NTSC formats out there. Look in the usual places.

There is a boot on DVD from the actual broadcast called Livesexy. It is unedited, unlike the released version. The intermission with Ingrid Chavez has more spoken lines than on the official release.

You know you can download all those concerts onto DVDs, and burn them. I have Sign 'O' The Times, Lovesexy, and Purple Rain concerts.

I think this is Prince best tour visually. It just had so many props and unexpected things to watch him play with. It looked like he was having fun in a big playground for him & Cat. It was like a Broadway show. But it was a big spiritual message & meaning of it also. I saw exactly what he was trying to convey.

My favorite part also was the piano medley. Its always entertaining for me to watch him play the piano..
.
eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

Welll this thread made me watch it tonight.

Just amazing how the vibe changes in the second half of the show. The first half is more of a put on, while the second half is more of celebration of rebirth. Always spooky when he looks into the camera on The Cross lol

Definitely his best overall performance visually...

Musically, I'm not so sure. A lot of stuff is obviously pre-recorded, like the backing tracks during 'Erotic City', 'I Wish U Heaven' or the start of 'Dance On'... At times it seems like some stuff is not-so-obviously pre-recorded and triggered; there's a guitar riff during one song which appears to play slightly before Prince touches the strings on his guitar.

I love the dirty look Boni gives Sheila when she can't get to a drumstick, during 'Let's Go Crazy'. lol

Cat's choreography is genius. The whole "rimming" part during 'Lovesexy' gets me every time. lol

The Erotic City beginning has pre-recorded drums. That's about it. The band are playing the rest. I Wish U Heaven has pre-recorded beats... but the band are again playing the rest. His whole "Put It In - Take It Out" comments are a que for one of the band to just stop the drum machine.

The rest is all band, yes backing track vocals maybe used along with other parts impossible to play with the numbers in the band but he does this even today. He always has. At the O2 in London the classic guitar riff for Kiss was backing track. As was 7's chorus vocals.

I do LOVE that look Boni gives Sheila also. I've always wondered if Sheila was being a bitch there.

Also i've always loved the fact Prince forgets the end guitar part of I Wish U Heaven and Mico picks him up on it! Watch! V. funny.
